Important M.N.R. Information, Exporting, Transporting or Storing Fish.
The information and link below has just been passed on to us from the Ministry of Tourism & Recreation. June 26th, 2003

American anglers are facing the seizure of the fish they caught while
in Ontario on their return trip home at U.S. border crossings if their
catch is improperly marked and/or packaged. In this regard, about 50
American anglers who had been fishing in the Sarnia area saw almost 2,000 lbs of their catch confiscated.

Please find attached a fact sheet and corresponding photos from the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources that document the correct
procedures for storage and transportation of fish by anglers.
